I Wait..For Freedom

He's been deployed
To sever and protect
the lives of others
and help the annoyed

He's my hero
forever and always
he's a man to my mother
and never a zero

He's been gone
just a little longer the a month
It hurts to think we've won
cause we all know it's far from that

I want him home
but not right now
I miss him and his tone
but right now he's fighting
for their better home

and for that i can wait
till he comes home from his tour
I will tear up in joy and become more awake
for he my father
my hero,
the reason I wait.
