Scared Tears

by Darcy   Mar 2, 2008

A scar never truly heals; a see threw cover takes the place of the hole once there.
No more pain, just numb and discolored
A tear drop, small in size but leaves a big impact.
Just one can turn heads, two brings questions.
A giving heart torn down, in a flash it crumbles.
No protest to be heard, no words to even explain.
Leaving a shell to blow away in the harsh winds,
To be beaten down by the hard rain, and laughed at by the ones at the sidelines.
No one understands why it happens.
Trust is a evil that takes over one too many.
To trust is to give yourself as a hole with out walls, fear, or worry.
Taken for a fool, time and time again.
Never me you say, I know how to stop the ache,
Headstrong, a belief that you are untouchable.
Ever seen the scared tears of a fallen one?
The bottom is not far from the top.
Nevertheless, how you make it there determines how you brake.
Smoothly or shattered, depends on the path you fall from
