Crawling

by 1Mistake   Mar 2, 2008

I'm fading everyday into an empty state of mind.

My empty shell becomes hollow.

Numbness blinds all my senses.

I feel the warm light blinding.

Dim, and slowly burn out.

I lay infested with this sickness.

Bleeding crimson droplets, hitting the floor.

I slowly close my eyes waiting for death.

A small smile crosses her lips as she thinks of him.

Hearing his voice in her head, not being able to see his face.

A lone tear rolls down her cheek.

She can't find the light in all the dark.

She rises from the ground to her knees.

Crawling inch by inch, searching for the light.
