Tears that never touch my pillow,
Words I'll never say,
Wishes never to be granted,
Hope that's gone astray.

Feelings never to be shared,
Souls that feel no pain,
Comfort never felt before,
Love that is in vain.

Eyes that see no freedom,
Chances no one take,
Legends long forgotten,
Choices that we make.
