Heartless

I wrote this sometime in January or February, I don't know whether I'm going to make it lyrics or keep it in poetic form.

The girl you adored doesn't come here anymore,
the one you once loved and called yours is broken on the floor,
left with no words left to say and nothing left to show for,
so say your goodbyes, while you're laying down at night.

She's gone from your sight; maybe not from your mind,
but baby, she isn't coming back; she's never coming back,
she's broken on the floor, where she cries even more,
this girl that lays in front of you is what she's become.

A girl with no heart and feelings left to prove she's alive,
she's completely dead inside; nothing but a hollow shell,
she'll lie her head down at night and dream of having all those things,
that she lost with her spirit and soul; she's gone, oh yes, she's gone.

She's wishing she could find what she lost; she never knew what she had,
until it was gone and it's not coming back and she's not coming back,
so she'll lie her head down once more and dream of having those things,
when she really knows nothing will change; she's always be heartless they say.

So, the girl you adore isn't around anymore; might as well leave her be,
she's cold and she's heartless; she's everything you hate and you know it,
so give up and get off your high house because she's gone and she's not coming back,
she's nothing you want, she's everything you hate, so just give up on her, on her.

I think that you should put it in lyric form. It would sound good as a song. i was reading it and putting it to music in my mind the whole time. There were parts where I thought that the flow could've been better, but it was minor things. I loved it. 5/5
