He turned his back on a girl that desperately needed him
He walked away leaving her standing alone
He gave up on a love that needed his attention
He waited to try after she was far too gone.
She gave him the love and care he needed as he took it for granted
She dedicated her heart to him as he broke it over and over again
She tried to get him to se that he was all she ever wanted
She stopped trying after realizing her only saw her as a friend.
He led her to believe that things would work out
He brought tears to her eyes as he said 'I love you too'
He left her hanging on several occasions without explanation
She some to the realization that after trying there was nothing else she could do.
She had either been replaced or she had been forgotten
She tried to make up an excuse for his absence; she had none though
Her last option was to refresh his memory of all their good times together
In the process she found that he couldn't remember and she couldn't let go.
