The quite white path

by Big hersh   Mar 3, 2008

Looking down a white path
and all that you can see
is that the ground is covered with snow
and some quite tree leafs

snowing outside
everything looks deceased
at that very moment
you feel the world is at peace

for you hear nothing
around you at all
you can hardly hear
the remaining dead leafs
from the trees fall

you look up
and watch the trees
rock back and forth
as if they were free
wishing time at this moment
would just stop and freeze

for this is such a rare moment
you wish it would not go
and then all the sudden you
feel the soft wind blow

being in this place
you don't feel the world pass
for it is known
as the quite white path

I love this! i'm a grammar/spelling freak though, so just to point it out, "leaves" instead of leafs in the fourth line.

but i really enjoyed this. the "white" in the title attracted me because i use "white" as a symbol/subject in a lot of my poems. i love the connection with nature in this poem too. 5/5
