Pictorial Perfection

by -] Nobody [-   Mar 4, 2008

Might endless lisps escape and tell of your pain
Teardrops turn evolution and mascara turn black rain
Snapshots become tales and tell of abstract passion
I pray you'll find the beauty beneath dark fashion

Might hungered fingertips seek that of a lovers cup
I pray you will not thirst but turn to get back up
Embrace each contour and enjoy the pain deep inside
For there lay a river and a ravine on the other side

Might this place be relishable in translucent pearl
I pray porcelain teardrops tell of more than just a girl
More than that of photographs trapped beneath a frame
Immortally bound pasts and whispers of his name

Might 4 brackets encase this dream tainted in wonder
I pray there a heaven in this place deemed down under
To bring you up high and to find strength in your weak
Enough to hold you up as you chase this love you seek

Might ye falter though and crash into distant skies
I pray it be your hands that will be the first to rise
Where beauty can be found in the mirrors reflection
And love can be discovered within pictorial perfection
