Black Rose

by Kitten   Mar 5, 2008

These roses petals, black as night
its core is like a bottomless pit.
The thorns have only one thing in mind,
that's to see what it can slit.

The world ends around this rose,
But yet it stays standing.

Then the first petal falls.

The flesh peals off its loving victims
the decease of people lie within this rose
the soul of a black rose how it festers inside it.
The fumes, its loving scent plagues the world as we know it.

Then the second petal falls.

The bodies of its first victims already decomposing,
Yet it still remains unsatisfied.

Then the third petal falls.

As this petal hits the ground,
It strikes at the world with a heavy blow,
And kills off all its beauty.
Death and destruction is all it knows.

And all is because it wasn't loved.
Its hate and anger abated its thirst.
And now it cries Revenge

And all is because it wasn't loved.
