Suddenly

by Sora   Mar 5, 2008

Body quivering in small arms,
Now weak hands, that once looked so strong.
Secrets lie beneath his soul,
An amazing story never told.
A life turned around in the blink of an eye,
And a heart so courageous, that suddenly cried.
Not deserving one bit of the tears,
The pain he kept inside for so many years.
Has finally came out and discovered what it's like,
To be frozen inside, and kept out of sight.
With his tears soaking her shirt,
She knows exaclty what it's like to feel so hurt.
All ripped up and torn inside.
But can never find a reason why,
Why this road led to the worst.
With his heart beating so fast, his chest could just burst.
She holds him until the pain subsides,
Until there's no tears, no longer to hide.
The love she has for him is deeper than the ocean,
Strong and true with waves of emotion.
Tears all gone, then comes a smile,
A smile that could go on for miles and miles.

This is one of my favorite poems I've written. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
