The Fallen Snow Effect

by 19Rusty   Mar 5, 2008

Dammit girl look what you've done to me,
I'm stuck in love songs, and speechless
when you come my way, its coming at me so
hard, and its because of what you do,
never realizing or seeing yourself move so
gracefully, why is it this way, where will it all go.

Maybe I deserve this but you should look at
what I'm going through, I'm not suffering
because of being covered in fiction, fleeing the
hard things, and sympathy is empathy,
drug my dreams.

Help me look for my next tragedy, my new
seven day distraction, who will it involve,
what relationship will be killed, and just maybe
the death will have its usual symptoms,
who really knows.

Its a white out, blinding out and nothing can
be done but to go in and admire the furniture
that has your smell, the poems that you never
knew were about you,

I can't scream anymore, its just not worth
the familiarity that I know so well, they have
had their time, my purpose hasn't come, is
it late, or has it come under the lids of my eyes,

Sentences that drift off, just like a wish, and
I found that place I talked about for so long,
it housed me, I held it and lost it just like
everyone else.

Such a sad love poem. But it was very good. The girl has no idea of how much she hurt you, well, don't most of us? I loved this piece, explained exactly how I feel. Knowing I'm the first commenter and rater on this one, I feel soo privledged! hehe. Great job!!!! I'll read more.
