I look you in the eyes
And expect something real
I'll search until I'm gone
Then nothing will come forth

As I am, and as you are
We'll never be the same
We have no choice
All we have are memories

    Short yet truly powerful poem. I can relate to this piece in a way which makes it even more effective from me. You managed to say so much with three short stanza and that is really impressive. Greatly written, heartfelt and sincere piece.
