I'm right here

by MERCY is never shown   Mar 5, 2008

I'm burning holes in the back of your head
i know you must feel the flames from my eyes
what will it take for you to realize
that I'm standing right by your side
i try to get you to see me her
red streaks through my hair
piercings and rings to make you stare
and still you don't see me
I'm walking by your side
but I'm just a pawn in you game
i know you'll never love me the same
as you love her
the phone rings
but there is no answer
i wonder if your with her
i hang up and sit in silence
I've tried to be nice
and I've been mean
but you still haven't seen
the desire within me
I've told you so many times
but you don't seem to care
your the only one with whom I'll share
all the mistakes of my past
i try to get you to see me here
red streaks through my hair
piercings and rings to make you stare
what can i do to get you to notice me?

I think a lot of people change their appearance or things they do to try and get noticed by people, I say just be you and everything will work out. More then a few spelling mistakes and punctuality mistakes. Capitalization was missed in a lot of spots, you want want to add commas and periods into your poems at points where you want the reader to stop. "I know you'll never love me the same as you love her the phone rings" Their has to be some kind of seperation in a topic change. I gave this an honest 4/5 nice job
