Melted snowflakes stained her face.
the bitter breeze danced through her hair
the pain insider her heart, she must freeze,
with the stinging winter air.

A touch of ice numbed all the things that ever made her cry
breathing in fumes of this frosted world,
she reached for and hugged the shivering sky.
