Perfect Harmony

by Marc Ortiz   Mar 6, 2008

It was freezing on that moonless night,
When the most beautiful moment happened in my life...
The colorful aurora illuminates the dark sky
As the stars are flickering from a million miles away.

And there we were laying down beside the red roses.
Our hands are intertwined as one above my heart.
As I gazed into her eyes I whispered, "I love you."
And then I closed my eyes and kissed her with all my heart.

As I opened my eyes I saw her radiating like an angel.
A thousand green fireflies were flying across us
and when you look at the sky it was just like a comet
and then I said, "I'll never forget this moment."

"It's the most beautiful scenery I have seen in my life.
But this sight cannot compare to the beauty I see,
every time I see your sparkling smile."
And then her arms were around me as tears ran down...

And then the girl closed the (book) as she looked at me
laying down at the hospital bed...
As she said, "You never really forgot that moment...
Even though you lost your memories... you still wrote this.."

I smiled and said, "I told you I'll never forget that moment."
And then she came closer as I stood up with all my strength...
We held tight as I said, "When I'm with you I feel heaven."
and then our body and soul became one...

With Perfect Harmony...

Wonderful words, beautiful thoughts, gentle emotions. I liked this poem and its fingers that worked them selves into me when putting myself in the writers mind while reading this. Nice and cool runnings.
