All We've Failed to Do

They say it's the things we do,
That makes us regret though life.
The pain and suffering put on others;
Being angry and causing strife.

But, words can cover words,
And apologies do the same.
Friends will forgive friends.
Scars slowly fade away.

And when we take a moment,
To ponder on our lives-
The times we most remember:
Are those of happy times.

For when the ends has come
And all our regrets have too,
It's not the things we've done
But all we've failed to do!
