First Miracle

Can you imagine the heartbeat
Or first breath our galaxy took?
Its baby steps upon its feet,
And how innocent it did look?

The planet's very first orbit
How wobbly it must have been!
Or fragile radiance or the sun
Shinning on a new plant's stem.

The millions of stars first flight
In the infinite space above.
The ocean's first wave that rolled
And kissed the shore in love.

We can witness that same miracle,
While the universe knows not death.
When the birth of a newborn child,
Has taken its very first breath!
