In the End

In the End

Another night in darkness,
Another night in bed,
The air's so cold, it's biting.
I feel as if I were dead.

The cooling comforts of shadows,
Fall on every side.
My heart is hardly beating,
My spirit has already died.

My eyes are barely open
My body can barely move
Cursing fills my head,
My life is done and through.

Hope never gave up on me,
But I've given up on him.
So I'll close my eyes for the last time,
And hope to wake in the end.

Very picturesque, Very deep. Very well written. Really expressed exactly what you were saying
