It's been so long since we've been friends
i thought this friendship never ends
those times when we are there amends
still the memory of you transcends

you made me smile longer than a mile
but the you'd stay just for a while
you'd left me with great bile
still those moments are worthwhile

why'd you leave me like this?
i tried to forget but still reminisce
without you, i am without bliss
a friend like you is impossible to miss

goodbye is all that i can't say
even though you did not stay
i still can't forget that very special day
you've touched my life in a different way...
