Bonding of a Father and Daughter

by Amanda   Mar 6, 2008

We were so close
That nobody new.
Deep down inside
I new I looked up,
Looked up to him
And new I wanted to grow in his foot steps.
We've now come so far apart,
Not knowing day to day,
What could easily happen.
Looking back on the past
Remembering the days
Of running around like a maniac
And always asking to help out.
Loving the times of being in the shop,
And doing things I was aloud.
When it came to helping out
I thought I was big stuff,
When I was asked or told to do something.
Being so far apart,
Really hurts me.
Thinking that some days I don"t have a father
And hoping that one day the bond will come back.
The bonding of a father and daughter should have.
We use to have fun together,
Doing the things we both enjoyed.

Great poem. the only thing i recommend is editing out the little stupid marks this site adds in all the time. they are kind of distracting from the amazing work of art here =]
