Broken glass

by MorbidCupcake   Mar 6, 2008

With questions running at the speed of light in her mind
She's ready to lose it
Since the hour he said goodbye forever
Faking the smile she wears for life
She walks with her head held down

Her mother takes one long glance at her daughter
Now thin as a rail, protruding bones, and an everlasting teary face
Something broke apart inside of her
Now she's ready to lose it

Seeking for the healing she needs
She contemplats carefully
Trying to put the pieces of her life back where they came from
Before he ever came
