The day i smiled again

The only time i see my smile
is when i can see the reflection in your eyes
lately ive not been happy
so when i saw it u can believe my suprise

it made me feel again
so maybe you are the one
who can bring the ray of light ive been hoping for
when all this time i thought the darkness had won

all the hurt and pain ive been feeling
has started to fade away
ive only been able to imagine this moment
ive only been able to dream of this day

my future is in front of me
my past is in the past
i will remember all the good times
but my hearts opening again at last

now i know how it feels to be free
to be confident and stand tall
be proud of who i am
to pick myself up when i fall

ive learnt not to hold on
to something that never can be
but i do believe in hope
and once again love will find me
