Humanity Mistaken Once Again

The world around us makes us all too weak,
It makes us whisper when we should speak.
We give all of it up to everyone else,
But we know that there's only so many to blame..

You knew it was far too late,
You pinned it on me you ingrate!
I'm still here for you to blame,
But my other comes up from behind..

Is revenge all that sweet?
It makes us all seem like worthless meat.
We work together to kill each other,
Watching our backs and missing chances..

I feel like I am so misplaced,
A feeling that can not be displaced.
We just need to find ourselves the right place,
Just to have a reason to flee and race..

We all are trapped inside our human skin,
Striking angrily our beloved kin.
We hold back what we want let out,
We let out what we want kept in..

I am trapped inside inside,
I know longer want to reside,
Life is too hard a thing for me to decide,
Maybe I'm delusional and unbridled..

It only happens when everybody sees,
We rip out their hearts and it feels like 1000 degrees..
Let's take solace in their pain -
Laugh at all of our bloody rain
