Love In My Porcelain Heart

by Winter Rose   Mar 8, 2008

I touch your lips with my fingertips
and I notice how silky your skin is.
Your kisses are ice to my porcelain skin,
but I wouldn't mind to get attached with your lips
forever and forever breathing together.

If I had a love that wouldn't hurt,
with a small needle,
I would sew us together.
Our skins would make a perfect fabric,
with frames of heart shaped stitches.

You are my joy in the dark winter,
with all the mistakes in your character.
They didn't carve us to be perfect,
so together we will always
patch the mistakes in our skins.

I let your hands to take my heart,
as long as I can keep yours.
I will realise its desires and needs
and heal it everytime
it gets sick and cries.

    WOW!
This is the most original poem I have read in a while! My goodness! I absolutely love it! It gives me shivers everytime I read it! (yes.. I did read it way more than once).
I usually don't do this, but I'm deffinetely adding this poem to my favourites! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful poem.
ps: I like the style you wrote this poem in as well, it wasn't a typical format. I like that!
