Join Me In A Second Death

by Cooper   Mar 9, 2008

His blindness,
his deafness,
no more the lamb of expiring man blood,
weeping white unto the walking dead.

As the spades fall from starless skies,
kissing her pretty eyes,
and he's bleeding, bleeding, bleeding;
the bleeding of a thousand leagues,
and watching the castles come and crash upon the shore.

The tides still hunger for moonlight,
the healer of the lost,
give me passion oh firey silver,
give me fire, and let me burn to ash.

Sons and daughters drag the pyres away,
an orchestrated moaning lingers in my head,
as I watch him,
and he watches me,
gone with the sinful winds ....

Woooow! Wow, wow! Mind-blowing piece! Every line posses so powerful inner beauty, you left me speechless with grotesque brilliance which you created in this one. First stanza has one of the most captivating starts that I read in a long time and ending is simply outstanding! Very vivid poem, imagery is absolutely impressionable.
Whole poem is nearly perfect, I just don't like word-firey- in third stanza cause I personally think that you could use some more effective and unique word.
I must say you have impressive metaphors and you wrote a masterpiece! I'll put this in my favorite poems, amazing job, once again!
    You are truly talented.
