Blind

I can hear you talking
but I can not see you.
please stay by my side
forever.

Where are you going?
No, please do not let go.
Your hugs are like those
of the mother that I have
never had.

I can feel something wet
running down your face.
Are you crying?

I hear your footsteps.
They are walking away
from me. I hear the door
squeak like a mouse.

BAM!

Was that the door?
Am I in here all
alone? Why did
you leave me?

Please come back. I
do not like being alone.
The tears run down my
face like a waterfall.

Did you read my mind?
You came back. You kiss
me on the head. I felt your
tears run down my head
and upon my face.

Why are you crying?
Please tell me. Who
grabbed my hand? It
is as rough as sand
paper.

Who are you? Where are
you taking me? The voice
said "It's okay I'm taking
you to a place for people
like you."

You did not like me?
Was I a pain? Will
anyone else want me?
No, noone wants a blind
child.
