Life is a Journey

Life is a journey, a real long journey.
Life is sorrow, a real throbbing one.
I met some one in the age of 17
someone who really cared.
He once said he loves me.
He once said he understands me.
He once said he feels my thoughts.

Life was beautiful, it was dramatic.
Monday was the day of a wrong turn.
Monday was the day when he moved on.
Thought he loved me, thought he cared.
Two years of love,
two years of promises.

His parents find a girl,
He says she's my future woman.
I then say you were a lesson.
Life was hard, a real detestation.
Life was a puzzle, a four road junction.
Lost my way in the bushes,
Hated myself, hated everyone.

Time passed, left the country,
New life, new journey,
Life is joyful, as long as you focus.
