Heavenly highway

by Iola   Mar 9, 2008

A rolling stone and a feather alike
Cold sweat on a single bed
Taking of on a dangerous bike
Where only angels dare to tread

Racing hearts on a highway of blood
Wind cannot be caught by fire
Wet encounters caused by soothing mud
Blazing bliss with a pinch of desire

Rock with lace and roll on wheels
Where exploding hearts get the chance to shout
Swim for a moment with the dolphins and seals
Until that day when each candle goes out

Just move forward whilst I hold on tight
To a leather jacket more tender than steel
On this dark road shines a blinding light
I may borrow but I will never be able to steal
