A Hurting Heart

I want you to know that I love you
And I'm sorry for what I did that day.
All you wanted was to hold me close
But I just pushed you away.

All you ever wanted to do was love me
You gave me your heart, body, and soul.
Told me you were mine forever,
And you would never let me go.

I don't know what I was thinking
When I told you this must end
And now I would do anything, ANYTHING
Just to be in your arms again.

Not only am I hurting myself,
But I'm hurting you too.
So I want you to know that wherever life may take us,
A part of me will always be with you.

I love you.
