I know depression isn't really there
but at moments my heart breaks
my body is to bruised to move
and there is to much on my mind
that it breaks down
did you know i'm vulnerable to your voice?
when i hear you speak those 3 cursed words to her
my heart tells me to dribble chocolate on that yummy ice cream for comfort
did you know he hurts me?
he raises his plam and
sometimes he glides it along my skin
my body tells me not to move
for i am shameful and
that i should stay trapped
behind my tears
did you know i try to save them all?
my friend with suicide wrecking her life,
the young abused and the lost
my mind tells me it isn't working
that they hate me for trying...
my mind,
tells me to reach for the blade
and to release tears of my arm
