Pain in Change

Oh the pain change brings
hope falls as the changing leaves, hope too once beautiful
if only you still offered your coat for the coming winter you caused
still warmth from memories of summer and knowing forget hasn't reached your heart
yet
unlike the seasons
we've reached the end of time
for no summertime for hearts will be like ours'
as the cold sets in
