Time for love

Things are never what they seem,
when I thought this love for you was always so complicated
and at the end I found its never ending.
When at one point I heard nothing from you,
time later, I realized that without you in my life I cant exist.
If this is the way its supposed to be,
I'll die slowly with the pain of never being able to be at your side.
But I've awaken and realized that my love for you is real.
And also realized that with you they say I can never be.
Its time to get what I want,
after all these years, all I've done is what they wanted.
But this is the time for me to stand up for myself,
and let my love be for real and let it be.
I hope you didn't get tired of waiting.
Because 5 years, I totally understand.
But just know that for you
a lifetime I am willing to wait.
