Apathy seems giving

I am a living protest
some come in silence
others aloud
sometimes through violence
of this I'm not proud
why must i feel strongly
why cant i subdue
i find myself longing
for peace and a new
outlook on living
where feelings don't dwell
apathy seems giving
while i rot in hell
