Broken little boy

A small child
thrown into this world
so innocent and curious
not knowing the pain to be hurled

innocent, blue eyes
filled with only joy
never with real tears
such an innocent little boy

and suddenly
the world turns its back
it slams the little boy
a dirty attack

and the wonders of the world
disappear before his eyes
and for the first time
real tears his eye cries

and he drowns the ocean
with his tears
the shattered little boy
filled with fears

so young
do we destroy
the most innnocent
beautiful little boys
