Sleeping Beauty

As I lay in this bed
Waiting for the kiss
To finally wake up
Let's just hope he doesn't miss,

I lay here asleep
Waiting for him to come
And wake me from the nightmare
Let's hope he isn't done,

The kiss of death
Or the kiss of life
Is what I am awaiting
I may become his wife,

I am a simple princess
Who had a spell cast on myself
To only be awoken by true love
And his first kiss to my wealth,

I made a silly mistake
And touched the thimble
That cast this spell upon me
To make me only nimble,

I lay in this bed
Wanting that kiss
To finally be awoken
Let's just hope he doesn't miss,

I am just a simple princess
Who had a spell cast on myself
To only be awoken by true love
And true loves first kiss on my wealth,

I wait and time goes by
He finally comes to my rescue
I thought he would never come
He almost missed his cue,

True love
And his first kiss
Has finally broken the spell
And the bond between the miss,

I finally awoke
At last his lips on mine
I find myself in love
This is all too divine.
