Cinderella

by Lyssa   Mar 11, 2008

An evil step mother
Two ugly step sisters
And my fathers dead
They all just think they are winners,

I'm just a simple princess
Used to my power
Wanting to meet the prince
I have until that certain hour,

My fairly god mother
Has come to set me free
She gets me ready for the ball
Its finally going to be,

I finally arrive
Shiny dress
And glass slippers
I hope I don't make a mess,

Its finally my turn to meet him
Fix my hair
Check my teeth
Make sure my arms aren't bare,

He asks me for my name
"I-I'm Cinderella,"
I stuttered as I said it
Hes such a nice fella,

The clock strikes twelve
I have to run now
Before things come undone
Give him a nice bow,

I run away fast
Leaving the glass slipper behind
"I must find her,"
The prince says with a whine,

The shoe must fit one girl
"It fits me!" I shout
Finally what I've been waiting for
I'm getting married, how can I pout?

The bells chime
The people gather
We say I do
And live happily ever after.
