Deceptions

by che   Mar 11, 2008

I'm here listening,
And quite wondering,
Why you still keep me believing
Even though I know you're lying.

Drink one glass of wine,
Pretending everything is fine.
Supposing mendacity aren't right,
But there's no time to fight,
Lets just make things right,
And swallow our pride.

Alone in the dark,
Reminiscing the faded memoirs of us.
Then I remember the word trust,
And start accepting everything would last.

Love turns to hate.
Sentiment becomes numb.
Happiness turns to depression.
Precision becomes deceptions.
