You're In Every Rhyme

by Pia   Mar 11, 2008

You altered all that I had planned,
As you slowly took me by the hand,
And I gave in against my will,
For in my heart, love you had filled,
Right there and then I realized,
That the one staring in my eyes,
Stood the one who had saved my soul,
From this dark abyss, this endless hole,
For you were the sunshine trickling through,
While I was a seed covered in dew,
And with you I've bloomed so beautifully,
Feeding from your presence next to me,
You are the smile behind my laughter,
The candlelight when nights grow colder,
You are the melody in my song,
And you're the right in every wrong,
My feelings for you will grow with time,
As I write about you in every rhyme.
