Inner Demon

Every person has an inner demon
a little monster they cant control
that gives them something
something we don't know.

We have our inner demons
who only we can see
that make us think
am I crazy?

I see my inner demon
a small little ball of fluff
with glittering red eyes
and a soft little nose

My inner demon smiles
its squeaks
it plays and shouts
never stopping
its energetic little bouts

My inner demon
like a little bunny
or small kitten
is as cute as can be
because the ugly
is on the outside of me

My inner demon is that
I hide myself behind my veil
my dark and foreboding look
the glare I shoot
the fangs I bare

Yet on the inside
Im really just a soft little puffball
with a weak jaw
and soft paw

My inner demon is my truth
My outer demon is my lie
I am my own demon
Because I am afraid to die

(One of my first, put back together through memory.. maybe a few changes. Basically its a brand new old thing)
