Another Kid Dies and the Day goes by

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Mar 12, 2008

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

A sorrowful shadow is cast
It follows a stranger
It has the dead hand of the past
The host is in danger

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

The host is subjected to pain
The shadow waits for death
It forms a sickness in his brain
Waiting for his last breath

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

This day is gray, and so is he
Sickness demands release
With his shadow does he agree
The sadness he will cease

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

Well it happened later that day
He took the foolish choice
He simply gave his life away
Sickness silenced his voice

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

A few years of this depression
And he let his chance pass
He didn't stop the possession
He let the thought surpass

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

He traded three years for his life
His selfishness hurt all
He gave up kids, career, a wife
His shadow made him fall

Another kid dies
And the day goes by

Before any of you read this be sure to understand my past. It is a long story and probably longer than I should have typed on here. If any of you feel insulted or just want to read what I'm talking about please go to the comment section for this poem and I will have a full length message of why I am this way and such. AND PLEASE IF YOU ARE OFFENDED I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE IT WILL CLEAR UP A LOT OF MISUNDERSTANDINGS!!!!!
This poem is dedicated to all of those that are depressed and thinking about taking their lives. Think about it. You're being selfish. Don't do it. You're not the only person in the world. You're going to hurt so many people. Think about that person you'd take a bullet for. If life is so horrible why would you subject another person to go through it? You know why. It's worth it. We have so much power. If someone offers you twenty dollars in exchange for one, that's a good deal. That dollar you're giving away is the pain. You have that extra money to do whatever you want with. You can fix it. I went through stuff too. I learned. I'm not insulting any of you. I'm trying to help you. If any of you need to talk let me know. I was a messed up person a few years ago. I went through all of that life sucks crap. I did it alone for the most part. I know what it's like. Don't you dare say that anyone doesn't. You are not so special that you're the only one in the world that feels that way or knows your pain. You know what makes more sense. Just live it. Do it. One hundred years to live. Don't you give them up.
