Natures Love Song

by Aage Crow   Mar 12, 2008

The wind is the song that the trees dance too
Slow like the beat of my heart as I walk next to you
If only we could hear natures song as they do
Then we could dance till the grass collects the morning dew
Your but a gentle whisper now against my ear
And only in the crashing of waves will I ever hear
How you loved our one last midnight dance
The sad cry of how if you could ever get another chance
You would have never left my side so many miles away
If you could have you would have made yourself stay
Though its too late now and a tear falls in harsh rain
I wish only now that you could hear that I am not in pain
That I will wait forever if thats how long you take
Picking these flowers in the gardens that I make
I would wait and whisper on soft breeze
How I hope in your heart that you are at ease
Pray that you remember that I love you lots
As I pick off the petals of the forget-me-nots
I shall watch through the dead of night
For you to be walking home in morning light
Await your loving and warm embrace
So that we can hear natures song and dance again that day
