Little girl in a big world

A little girl
lost in a big world

stumbling around
crying out
but not making a sound

on carpeted stairs
mouses feet
that's as loud as she dares

such a grey place
to be lost in
for such a colorful face

where did she come from
this little girl with pale white skin
in this world she is deaf and dumb

perhaps an angel
who long ago
from Heaven fell?

or a little devil
who came from Hell
bring evil?

no matter from whence she came
every little lost girl
is always the same

just a little girl
