Darkness

by MariSylvano   May 21, 2004

You look at me but you don't see,
The darkness that's deceiving me,
Making me believe Life is better as death,
Making me want to choke every breath,
This darkness that's taking away my identity,
Making me lie in black obscurity,
I want to see light somewhere up ahead,
To wake up and feel happy instead,
I'll take away this blackening cloud,
I'll beat out those accusing sounds,
I'll bang my head against the wall
But still you won't see me at all
My love has caused me so much pain and sorrow,
That now I can't even face tommorrow,
And still you look at me, but you'll never see,
The darkness that's deceiving me
