It comes his day to go away
he convinces himself all will be OK
He See's through the good and the bad
That brave army lad
He wants to get home just to see your face
He'll fight and fight like its a race
When he is finally told he can leave
No need to be sad, no need to grieve
From the tough decision to leave for the war
The weight is lifted from his shoulders, don't need to be scared anymore
When they give you that phone call "I'm coming home from the war!!"
They're hearts full of gladness, not scared anymore
[OK, just expressing feeling from when my brother was in the war, not much of a poem more like a "dear diary" haha but seriously, I know my poems ain't good]
