In my mind

Stuck in the darkness just trying to find the light

Not knowing whether it is day or night

Yelling for help but no one can hear

Even though they are standing near

I have been on this Earth for twenty years

All along being viewed by my peers

To the world they say I am kind

While I believe it's all in their mind.
