My little cherub

Pregnant for first the time,
The excitement is so profound
Youâ??re my blessing,
You are my excellent reward.

Oh my little one
Mommy is so excited to feel you
To embrace you,
To hear the melody of you cry.

But mommy has a confession
I was disturbed, for daddy doesnâ??t want to go on with this
My family doesnâ??t like your dad,
And the thought of raising you as a single mom.

But you my innocent cherub,
You Momsâ?? surreal blessing,
You are mine,
And moms love you with all her divine.

My baby, As we continue this journey,
First I wanna say sorry,
Mom was drinking and smoking for Im not sure if I gonna have you,
Sorry, Moms regret that I was not careful.

Now my dear one,
I promise that Iâ??ll be more vigilant
Starting today until I part away,
That ill be attentive and love you unconditionally

    this is an honest piece of writing and the emotion runs deep and true. A child is the most precious gift a person can hope to bring into this world. Such a gift is not always planned and brings diverse feelings and reactions. This poem shows this journey, but ultimately shines in the only right course of action. If love is there, then love will make the future shine.

      Shes pretty and smart like me hahaha

      shes into reading hopefully i can teach her how to express feelings and convert it into artistic phrase
