God saved her

by StandStill   Mar 15, 2008

She climbs up
nice and high
dries her tears
death is no time to cry

she sees the rope
it is her friend
or is it her enemy
the bitter end?

no matter now
the lines are blurred
she wishes that her sickness
could be cured

and the world is spinning
crashing down
but she is laugh
why bother to frown?

the end is so close
so wonderfully sweet
all she must do is lift her neck
move her feet

the rope becomes a halo
that falls past her head
she's now saying goodbye to the world
thinking, what a glorious end!

and as she's comes close
she is about
to kick out her feet
but suddenly there comes doubt

what if this is wrong?
what if there is another way?
to calm my mind
to survive me through another day?

fear floods through her
as she realizes what she almost had done
how far she'd fallen
from knowing Him, the One

she realses her halo
takes it from below her head
thanks god for the day
He prevent her from seeing the end
