Death will get you...with a smile

The day- the same as any other
Everyone else looking so happy
When all she did was suffer.

How can the world, be so cruel and cold?
That's just the way life is.
She was always told.

But today, she had had enough.
She tried to be stay strong.
She tried to be tough.

But it got so lonely being on her own.
She knew deep in her heart, she would always be alone.

So that night while she lay crying in her bed,
A plan began to devise in her head.

She went into the kitchen, and got the sharpest knife.
For she had decided, that she would end her life.

No more tears, no more pain.
Never having to cry again.

So she grabbed the knife, and stabbed her chest,
Letting out one single breath.

The next morning her parents found her dead
Laying in a blood stained bed.

This is what happens when the world gets cruel,
Just don't let it happen to you.

Because even if you escaped the pain,
It was only for a little while.
Because when death comes to get you,
It will get you with a smile.
