No Regrets

As the world slowed down,
I felt him reaching out
To the sky,

And as we took flight,
I felt him hold on tight
And take my hand,

And as we flew high,
I wondered why
It just felt so right.

And as we kissed the stars,
And lost sight of the lines,
We soared through the sky
All that night,

No regrets tonight
On our midnight flight,
For the whole world
Is there for our waiting

And as we returned
to the silent world,
I couldn't help
but just wonder.
