Traveler's bag

by Arunansu   Mar 15, 2008

You have packed my everyday
within yourself

As I hold you
I bear the
load of yesteryears

Your shoulders may be worn out
arms and neck stiffened
some zippers may not be
fastening with ease

Nonetheless
cracks in a pillar
do not bother me

dust gathered, thickened
along the folds
feel smoother

Together it has been
and so shall it be

so will remain
the softened fabric

strapping me up
